Ive been fishing all of my life ....my first fish caught was a small rock fish off the Stanley Park sea wall (when it didn't go all the way around the park) using a stick with line tied to the tip and a piece of herring my dad baited the hook with. I was 6-7 years old and that was 60 years ago.

Fast forward to 20+ years ago.... I was fishing Coho Point (Langara Island, Haida Gwaii ) alone one afternoon and it was a hammer show.....catching large chinook on after the other by myself....netting a fish and releasing it was not easy.
