The Annual Anthology
A book for the cabin shelf.
Once a year, Field Journal will gather the best stories, field notes, recipes and workbench guides into a printed book: something to keep by the woodstove, give as a gift, or pack in the truck.
How pieces are chosen
- — Picked by people, from pieces published on Field Journal during the year.
- — Every writer is asked first. Nothing goes in without a clear yes.
- — Writers who are included get a copy and a fair share of what the book earns.
- — Photos are only used with the photographer's credit and permission.
Where it stands
The first edition is planned once there's a full year of writing to choose from. Copies will be sold off the site (through a printer or bookshop), not through Field Journal itself. Want to hear when it's ready?
