The story behind the shop

about me I moved to Tofino from Ontario about nine years ago and never looked back. I’ve always been into creating things, but it wasn’t until I got out here—surrounded by ocean, forests, and fish—that I picked up watercolour painting. Fly fishing is a big part of my life, and that connection to the water shows up in my art. I paint the fish I chase, the plants I pass by, and the feeling of being out there in it all. Forel Art is just me sharing what I love—fish, flora, and the wild beauty of the west coast.
